Fukuda said, "I am very happy to work with Lucky Strike BAR Honda. I am honored to receive their confidence and will do my best for them in 2002."
Malcolm Oastler, BAR'S Engineering Director said, "Fukuda is a big talent and we have had our eye on him for some time. I am pleased to have him on board and believe he can play a significant role in our major development push next season and beyond. We are committed to helping young, aggressive drivers progress and at the same time we benefit from a good mix of youth an experience within the team."
