Bahrain reveals circuit plans
THE State of Bahrain Ministry of Works has revealed details of the racing circuit it is building on a 400 acres site. The track, which has been designed by the German engineering company Tilke, will have a variety of different configurations including a dragstrip and two short circuits which can operate independently of one another. The main circuit however will be 3.4-miles in length. There will also be an oval . Interestingly the track will feature two pitlanes with the paddock area between them.
Construction is now beginning on the facility.
