BAR announce test driver line-up
BRITISH AMERICAN RACING have announced their test driver line-up for the 2001 season with Briton Darren Manning retaining his position alongside French development driver Patrick Lemarie.
Young British prospect Anthony Davidson and Japanese driver Takuma Sato will also join the Brackley-based team to improve their skills ahead of a possible full-time Formula One career.
Managing director Craig Pollock said: "Research and development are key issues in building and maintaining a competitive Formula One team and having the combination of skill and new talent on-board will be a very valuable asset to the team.
"Ours is a young team and one that has set itself some ambitious performance targets which we intend to achieve."
