Di Montezemolo will not quit as Ferrari chief

FERRARI president Luca di Montezemolo has said that he has no plans to quit at the helm of the double-winners and admitted that he wants more success next year.

Di Montezemolo was rumored to be ready to stand down after Michael Schumacher secured the first drivers' crown in 21 years for the Italian marque.

But he has rubbished the suggestions and said that he is hungry for more success and wants to remain with the team for the rest of his life.

"I will remain with Ferrari and I won't be leaving," Di Montezemolo said. "That is a decision for life.

"We have done exceptionally well this year and I am sure that we will win the world championship again next season. That is why I don't want to leave."
