Silverstone to learn their fate in Seville
The Northamptonshire circuit will produce a revised plan at an FIA World Motor Sport council meeting in Seville which will try to convince the sport's governing body that there will be no repeat of last year's debacle.
Many fans were turned away from attending qualifying after heavy rain caused car parks to be closed at short notice, and a decision on its' inclusion next year will be made at the meeting.
Silverstone head of motorsports John Quemby will be present to represent the circuit after a report was handed over outlining planned improvements on the services it can provide and organization of race control.
"Silverstone have sent a report to The World Motor Sports Council and a decision will be made by the FIA at the meeting," Motor Sports Association spokesman Colin Wilson said.
