Team boss reject Friday practice plans
FIA President Max Mosley, along with world championship challengers Mika Hakkinen, David Coulthard and Michael Schumacher are supporting the idea of holding a Grand Prix over only two days.
But after a meeting in London last week and a further gathering in Monza, team-bosses have opted against backing the proposed changes.
A paddock source at the meeting said: "The decision about the three-day grand prix weekends is to keeping things the way they are."
The issue on whether to limit testing to only four non-grand prix venues in Europe was also discussed at the meeting.
