Badoer tests Ferrari in wet conditions
FERRARI test driver Luca Badoer put the F1-2000 car through its paces on Thursday at an artificially soaked Fiorano circuit.
Badoer completed a total of 73 laps, with 57 taking place on wet tires as the team soaked the Italian circuit with sprinklers and hoses to simulate wet conditions.
In sunny weather and a temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, Badoer posted a fastest lap time of one minute and 8.144 seconds on the wet tires and a best lap time of one minute and 4.887 seconds on dry tires.
Badoer also completed five race starts on the short track at Fiorano.
